2004 BAROLO

**** EXCELLENT
Rivetto dal 1902 “Giulin”

Beautiful garnet with aromas of red cherry, turmeric, wild strawberry and
cedar. Medium-full with excellent concentration. Rich mid-palate with delicious
red cherry fruit. Excellent fruit persistence and nicely integrated tannins.
Elegant, graceful wine- best in 15-20 years.

*** VERY GOOD
Rivetto dal 1902 “Leon”

Garnet with aromas of dried cherry, cedar, truffle and caraway. Medium-full
with very good concentration. Nicely integrated oak and tannins. Earthy,
traditional style that will be at its best in 10-12 years.

2005 BARBARESCO

*** VERY GOOD
Rivetto dal 1902 “Cé Vanin”

Light garnet with aromas of cigar, caraway and persimmon. Medium-full with
very good concentration. Bright fruit and lively acidity in an elegantly styled
wine. This is quite ripe, but otherwise nicely balanced. Best in 5-7 years.

1998 BAROLO

*** VERY GOOD
Rivetto “Leon”

Bright garnet with aromas of caraway, dried orange peel and dried cherry.
Medium-bodied with soft tannins, lively acidity and good fruit persistence.
Elegantly styled – enjoy over the next 3-5 years.
