VINIFICATION
The grapes are hand selected in the vineyard. Following initial pressing, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature (28-30°c) in stainless steel tanks. Maceration lasts 10 days. Malolactic fermentation occurs in November.

REFINING IN WOOD
French oak barrels and 3000 L Slavonian oak casks. Total period of ageing: 4 years.

CLARIFICATION
Egg whites, gelbentonite

TASTING NOTES
Highly concentrated, deep red in colour with garnet highlights. The nose reveals a wonderful aroma of roses. It is a very well-balanced, rounded wine with soft, non-aggressive tannins. High in alcohol with a densely-woven texture, the palate is never excessively oaky so as to maintain intact the flavours that are characteristic of the terroir.
