GRAPE VARIETAL
100% Nebbiolo The Riserva is only made in what the Rivetto family considers to be the best Barolo vintages. Wine that shows a great ageing potential during vinification is left to age for at least 5 years before reaching the consumer. Production is therefore very limited.

VINIFICATION
The grapes are hand selected in the vineyard. Following initial pressing, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature (28-30°c) in stainless steel tanks. Maceration lasts 13 days.
Malolactic fermentation occurs in November

REFINING IN WOOD
French oak barrels. Total period of ageing: 5 years.

CLARIFICATION
Egg whites.

TASTING NOTES
Full-bodied, red in colour with orange-garnet highlights. The nose releases a wonderful scent of roses. This is a very well-balanced, rounded wine, with silky tannins that softly caress the tongue. This ‘meditation’ wine is the classic embodiment of the Langhe terroir.
