VINIFICATION
The grapes are hand selected in the vineyard, followed by initial pressing and subsequent fermentation which takes place at a controlled temperature (30-32°C) in stainless steel tanks. Maceration lasts 10 days.
Malolactic fermentation occurs in November.

REFINING IN WOOD
French oak barrels

CLARIFICATION
Egg whites, gelbentonite

TASTING NOTES
A muscular wine, clear and deep red-purple in colour, with a wonderful aroma of ripe black cherries on the nose. The palate is warm, rich in extract, highly concentrated, with a pleasant soft texture and sweet and delicate tannins that have mellowed during ageing in oak. A highly gratifying wine.
