Rivetto Giulin Fairly expressive – dried tea, strawberry and rose petals. Ethereal style – lithte (albeit firm) tannins. Very intense scent, graceful finish. 10 years +.

Barolo Leon 2001 Big and solid wine with a raisin and prune character and hints of roasted coffee beans. Full-bodied, chewy and structured. Very tannic. Best after 2008. 600 cases made.
